This grill plate has 2 sides. You can use the plate as a grill with the ribbed side to get nice grill marks on your meat or to grill larger pieces of meat. You can use the plancha side for stir-frying / wokking.

Indirect grilling
The coals are placed centrally, which allows you to grill your meat and vegetables indirectly by placing them around the charcoal. You can adjust the temperature by lowering the fan speed.
With the lid, you can cover the food so it cooks better, or to give it more charcoal flavor. If desired, you can also smoke by placing wood chips on the charcoal and closing the lid.
