The Skottel or Paella Braai 30mbar from CADAC is a true classic for outdoor cooking – light, versatile and made for camping adventures. CADAC became known worldwide thanks to the original Skottelbraai, inspired by a South African tradition in which farmers used a ploughshare over the fire to cook. That idea grew into the Skottelbraai as we know it today: a compact gas barbecue that allows you to cook anything, wherever you are.
If you choose the Skottel Braai, you will receive a large, enamelled wok pan measuring 49 cm. Ideal for eggs and pancakes in the morning, stir-fries for lunch or sausages, meat, fish and vegetables in the evening. Handy: you can keep dishes that are already ready warm on the outer edge with food dividers.
If you prefer the Paella Braai, you get the same stable base, but with a professional 47 cm Paella Pan. This pan has a GreenGrill ceramic coating (healthy cooking, PFOA-free) and high, raised edges. Perfect for paella, of course, but also great for stir-frying, one-pot dishes and larger portions for the whole group.
Both versions come with a pan holder, so you can easily heat up a pan of soup, pasta or sauce. Thanks to the lightweight aluminium base and compact design, you can take the braai with you wherever you go. Weighing only 6 kg, it is ready for any campsite, beach day or picnic.
In short: whether you want to stir-fry on the Skottel or cook generously in the Paella Pan — with this braai, you can cook outdoors just as easily as at home.
