The Skottel or Paella Braai 30mbar from CADAC is a true classic for outdoor cooking – light, versatile, and made for camping adventures. CADAC became globally known thanks to the original Skottelbraai, inspired by a South African tradition where farmers used a ploughshare over the fire to cook. That idea grew into the Skottelbraai as we know it now: a compact gas barbecue with which you can make anything, wherever you are.
If you choose the Skottel Braai, you get a large, enameled wok pan of 49 cm. Ideal for eggs and pancakes in the morning, stir-fry dishes for lunch, or sausages, meat, fish, and vegetables in the evening. Handy: dishes that are already ready can be kept warm on the outer edge with food dividers.
If you prefer the Paella Braai, you get the same stable base, but with a professional Paella Pan of 47 cm. This pan has a GreenGrill ceramic coating (healthy cooking, PFOA-free) and high, raised edges. Perfect for paella of course, but also great for stir-frying, one-pan dishes, and larger portions for the whole group.
Both variants come with a pan holder, so you can easily warm a pan of soup, pasta, or sauce. Thanks to the lightweight aluminum frame and compact design, you can take the braai anywhere. At only 6 kg, it is ready for any camping, beach day, or picnic.
In short: whether you go for stir-frying on the Skottel or generous cooking in the Paella Pan — with this braai you cook outdoors just as easily as at home.
