AquaTex Liquid Water Repellent – 1L, 2.5L & 5L for Awnings

With AquaTex liquid waterproofing, you can restore the water-repellent properties of you awning, tent fabric, or other textiles. Ideal for use with caravans, RVs, and kamperen, especially when larger surfaces or even the entire awning need to be treated.

Over time, the original protective coating on the tent fabric can wear off due to use, wind, weather, and cleaning. As a result, the material becomes less effective at repelling water. AquaTex is a practical solution for thoroughly re-treating the tent fabric after cleaning.

The liquid waterproofing treatment is available in 1-liter, 2.5-liter, and 5-liter sizes, so you can easily choose the size that fits the dimensions of you awning or the area you’re treating. For smaller areas such as seams and joints, AquaTex is also available as a waterproofing spray for more precise application.

Usage

For best results, the material must be completely clean and dry before you begin.

• Brush or vacuum the tent fabric while it’s dry.
• Then wipe the surface down with a damp cloth.
• For a more thorough cleaning, you can use a cleaning product specifically designed for awnings.
• Apply AquaTex in an even layer using a spray bottle or garden sprayer.
• Avoid contact with windows. If the waterproofing agent does get on them, wipe it off immediately.
• Always you the fabric dry completely before folding up the awning.
• AquaTex is fully cured after about 1.5 hours at 20 °C.
